Eiluned Edwards – Crafting fashion in India: artisans, designers and cultural heritage

Associate Professor in Global Cultures of Textiles and Dress at Nottingham Trent University. A regular lecturer at the V&A who has published widely on Indian textiles, dress and fashion, and is currently working on a British Academy project with Ambedkar University Delhi, the Craft Revival Trust and rural artisans in Kachchh, Gujarat.

Avalon Fotheringham – Indian Textiles from the V & A Collections

Curator of the South Asian Textile Collections at the V&A. With a special interest in the histories of textile technologies and design change in Southern Asia and the external influences of trade with Europe and America. Formerly a Research Assistant on  the ‘Fabric of India Exhibition’.
