The cathedral owns and uses an important collection of ecclesiastical rainments and textiles and we look forward to hearing how they are used by the Clergy and something of their history and the care that is required to preserve them during their active life.

Once again we are pleased to welcome Heather Toomer, lace expert and author to talk about her latest book ‘Fashionable White Embroidered Accessories c.1840 -1900’ and for a chance to take a closer look at some of the items from her collection.
